Jim Carlin has extensive work experience in the banking industry, spanning over several decades. Jim began their career in 1982 as a First Vice President at Surburban Trust, BOA, and remained in this role until 1990. Carlin then served as a Vice President at First National Bank of Maryland from 1990 to 1996. Following this, they worked as a Vice President at Crestar Bank from 1996 to 2000. Carlin then joined Chinatrust Bank as a Vice President from 2000 to 2003. Currently, they are a Senior Vice President at Capital Bank, N.A., a position they have held since 2003. Jim Carlin attended Northwestern University from 1976 to 1978 for graduate work, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study. Jim later attended the University of Maryland, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics.
