Colleen Gavin

Colleen Gavin, MPH, ACSM EP-c, CHWC, is a seasoned health professional currently serving as a Senior Health Coach in the Health Promotion Wellness Department at Capital Blue Cross since May 2013. With extensive experience, Colleen has instructed fitness classes, conducted health risk assessments, and developed wellness education programs, including those for elementary schools. Colleen has also held roles in retail as a Health Coach and Sales Representative at Capital Blue Cross, contributing to innovative health insurance solutions. Additionally, Colleen has nurtured coaching skills as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at DeSales University and previously served as a Head Basketball Coach for the United AAU Basketball Organization. Colleen’s academic background includes a Master in Public Health with a focus on Nutrition from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Exercise from DeSales University, complemented by an internship in sports psychology.
