Leanne Staalenburg

Senior Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer at Capital City Bank

LeAnne Staalenburg joined the Capital City Team in 1994 and is responsible for implementing and overseeing governance of the corporate physical, logical and cyber security programs. In this capacity, she is charged with ensuring security programs align with business objectives, promoting a culture of strong information security company-wide, as well as directing the Incident Response, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery functions of the Bank. Additionally, she serves as chair of the Security Strategy Team and Operations Risk Oversight Committee. Staalenburg is a graduate of Abraham Baldwin College and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). She lends her professional expertise in the community as co-chair of the American Bankers Association Cyber & Information Security Working Group, board member with the Cyber Risk Institute, member of the conference content board for the American Bankers Association Risk & Compliance Conference, and a frequent speaker at a variety of conferences related to the security, enterprise risk management and vendor management industries. Additionally, Staalenburg proudly volunteers with Emerge Church and Buck Lake Elementary.
