David Dangana has extensive work experience in various educational institutions. David is currently the Director of Group Quality & Compliance at Capital City College Group, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Principal and CEO of Infant Jesus Academy in Nigeria from 2013 to 2015, where they significantly improved the school's reputation, recruitment rates, and performance through target-based performance reviews.
From 2010 to 2013, David worked as the Head of Quality Improvement and Teacher Training at Tower Hamlets College. In this role, they focused on improving teaching, learning, and assessment processes and ensured regulatory compliance. David successfully upgraded the college's Ofsted grade and achieved a positive assessment for higher education provision.
Before that, David was the Quality & Performance Manager at Guildford College of Further & Higher Education from 2008 to 2010. David'sresponsibilities included supporting curriculum departments to meet performance targets and implementing quality improvements across multiple campuses.
David also has experience at Basingstoke College of Technology, where they held two roles. David served as the Programme Manager for Applied & Vocational Sciences from 2007 to 2008, overseeing curriculum planning, staff and student recruitment, and budgeting. Prior to that, they were the Coordinating Lecturer for Animal Care & Management from 2002 to 2007, focusing on student recruitment, tutoring, and marketing of courses.
David'searliest experience in their career was as a Lecturer and Large Animal & Equine Veterinary Clinician at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Nigeria from 1993 to 1999. David'sresponsibilities included organizing professional development courses, maintaining safe clinical environments, and facilitating communication between livestock owners and veterinary professionals.
David Dangana has a diverse education history. David obtained a DVM in Veterinary Medicine & Surgery from Ahmadu Bello University between 1986 and 1991. In 2000, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Following this, they completed an MA in E-Commerce Marketing from the University of Portsmouth between 2001 and 2002. David furthered their education at the same university, earning a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from 2004 to 2005.
