Bruce Matthews

Bruce Matthews is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in wellness coordination, education, and customer service. Serving as the Wellness Coordinator at the YMCA of Greater Montgomery since February 2019, Bruce previously held the position of Wellness Coach, focusing on developing physical activity and nutrition programs. As a Special Education Teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools since August 2017, Bruce is committed to educating and inspiring students while fostering impactful relationships. Additional roles include working as a Sales Associate/Stock Manager at Kids Foot Locker and an intern at Montgomery Multiplex of Crampton Bowl. Bruce's educational background includes a Master's degree in Sports Business Management from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from Alabama State University.
