Gregorio Mednik

Gregorio Mednik has extensive experience in the energy sector, having served as Director of Energy Management and New Energy Solutions at Capital Energy and as Director of the CEO's office, focusing on strategy, regulation, public affairs, and grants. Prior experience includes leading the Economics & Regulation practice at KPMG España, where Gregorio directed teams in economic and regulatory affairs related to the electricity, natural gas, and oil sectors. Previously, as a Council Advisor for the National Energy Commission, Gregorio analyzed regulatory policies and contributed to the transposition of European directives. Early in the career, a research assistant role at the High Council of Chambers of Spain involved developing econometric models for Spanish exporters. Gregorio holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics, Energy, and Telecommunications from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Universidad de la República.
