Maria Casares

Maria Casares serves as Project Control Manager at Capital Energy since July 2022, overseeing economic, planning, and risk analysis for renewable projects, including wind and PV technologies, while supporting various M&A activities. Previously held the role of Project Control Manager at ACCIONA Construcción from November 2014 to June 2022, where responsibilities included economic and risk analysis across project phases and report preparation for senior management. Maria Casares has also managed significant projects at companies such as Ferrovial Agroman US Corp., where the role of Project Manager involved overseeing major budgets and planning, and held various project engineering positions across multiple construction projects in both Ireland and the US. Maria Casares holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Master Executive in Renewable Energies & Energy Markets from EOI Business School, and a Master's degree from Imperial College London.
