Semhar Amde

Semhar Amde is an experienced professional in talent management and human resources, currently serving as Vice President of the Capital Associates Program at Capital Group since April 2013, with previous roles including Manager of Talent Management and Senior Consultant. Prior experience includes serving as Human Resources Manager at GE Capital Treasury and a position in Learning and Development at GE Corporate. Semhar's career began with the Human Resources Leadership Program at GE Capital, participating in three rotations focusing on HR Generalist, Organization & Staffing Specialist, and Financial & Planning Specialist. Semhar holds a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations with a focus on Human Resources from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago.
