Joanna Villanueva

Joanna Villanueva is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit analysis and loan origination. Currently serving as a Senior Loan Associate at Capital Impact Partners since June 2023, Joanna previously held multiple positions at Lendistry, including Credit Analyst 3 and Credit Analyst II, from March 2021 to June 2023. Joanna began a career in credit analysis at SBA Complete, Inc. from April 2018 to March 2021 and started in the field at Farmers Insurance as an Administrative Sales Assistant from June 2015 to April 2018. Additionally, Joanna demonstrated leadership as a United Latino Student Representative for the Latino Student Business Association during the academic tenure at California State University Dominguez Hills from June 2014 to May 2015. Early experience includes an internship at San Francisco State University, where Joanna mentored students about higher education opportunities. Joanna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Advertising from California State University-Dominguez Hills in 2015, furthering education through studies at the Los Angeles Community College District and San Francisco State University.
