Kimberly Dorsett, SHRM-CP, PHR has over 20 years of experience in various human resources roles. Kimberly currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at CDC Small Business Finance since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the same position at Capital Impact Partners from September 2020 until their current role, where they also served as the Senior Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Director. In addition to their corporate experience, Kimberly was a Founding Member of Chief, a private network aimed at empowering women in leadership positions. Kimberly also has HR Director experience at FHLBanks Office of Finance, IVIZE GROUP, LLC, and M/I Home. Their earlier career includes roles such as HR Manager at Intersections Inc., HR Director at The Teaching Company, Regional Human Resources Manager at Richmond American Homes, and Human Resources Manager at G.L. HOMES OF FLORIDA. Throughout their career, Kimberly has excelled in implementing cost-effective HR strategies, streamlining processes, and improving talent acquisition and management. Kimberly is highly skilled in driving organizational success through aligning HR programs with business objectives.
Kimberly Dorsett, SHRM-CP, PHR, has a Master of Science degree in Management from Marymount University, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman University, which they completed between 1989 and 1993.
In addition to their formal education, Kimberly Dorsett has obtained several certifications. Kimberly completed the Coaching for Human Resource Professionals program at the Center for Creative Leadership in July 2013. In November 2012, they obtained the Interview Architect and Voices - 360 Facilitator certifications from Lominger International. Kimberly also acquired the Leadership Architect 101 certification from Lominger International in January 2007.
