Sarah Ransome is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in community investment and economic development. Ransome currently serves as a Senior Loan Officer at Capital Impact Partners, having previously held the position of Loan Officer. Prior roles include Community Investment Officer at CSH, where Ransome originated and deployed over $165 million in New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs) for innovative healthcare and supportive housing projects. Ransome's earlier experience includes a Policy Fellow position at Place Lab Chicago, focusing on impact analysis of local developments, and a Fellow role in Capital Planning and Policy at Cook County Government, where advocacy and energy benchmarking initiatives were advanced. Ransome also has a background in legal analysis and assurance roles at Huron Consulting Group and PwC. Ransome holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Economics from Marquette University, complemented by studies at John Cabot University.
