Michael Ackerman

Michael Ackerman, CPCU, CLU started their career at State Farm® in 1991 as a Manager and held various roles including Finance Manager, Management Planning and Information Manager, and Auto Claim Section Manager. Michael then served as the Director of Claims Data Analytics from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Capital Insurance Group as Chief Data Officer and later became the Chief Information Officer in January 2020.

Michael Ackerman, CPCU, CLU obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting from the West Texas A&M University College of Business in 1990. Michael also holds additional certifications including CPCU from The Institutes in 2015, and CLU from the American College of Education in 2002.
