Heshan Thusitha Liyanage

Heshan Thusitha Liyanage is an experienced professional currently serving as the Data Protection and Compliance Manager at Capital Maharaja Group since February 2024. Prior to this role, Heshan held various positions at Dialog Axiata PLC from 2018 to March 2024, including Manager of Internal Audit & Special Projects and Unit Manager for Technology and Cyber Security Audit. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Core Network Engineer at Huawei Technologies (2016-2018) and a Trainee Electrical Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board in 2015, where work involved power generation, transmission, and distribution. Heshan also gained experience as a Trainee Electronic Engineer at Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation in 2014. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc. (Hons) in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, an MBA from the University of the Pacific, and a Diploma in Law from KIU Sri Lanka.
