Christian Thygesen

Christian Thygesen is an experienced finance professional and educator with a robust background in economics. Currently serving as an External Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen since February 2019, Christian Thygesen teaches "Capital Markets in Practice" to master's students. As a Partner and Member of the Board at Capital Market Partners A/S since August 2010 and former Managing Partner, Christian Thygesen has also held leadership roles such as Chairman of the Board at Ordnung (Officehotels) and Stjernernes Køkken. Previous experience includes positions as an Independent Consultant at Nordea Markets, Company Developer and Partner at Venzo Invest, and Director of Administration at DIS. Christian Thygesen's early career features significant roles such as Head of Projects and Analysis at Roskilde Bank, Senior Economist at the European Central Bank, and Head of Section at Danmarks Nationalbank. Christian Thygesen holds an MA in Economics from Københavns Universitet and an MBA from the International University of Japan, alongside military training as a Lieutenant.
