Jeff Cartwright is the current Field Supervisor at Capital Office. Jeff has also previously served as the Chief Financial Officer at Anacomp Inc. from January 2006 to December 2010.
At Anacomp Inc., Jeff was responsible for all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, risk management (insurance), facilities, corporate finance and mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Jeff was a key player in transitioning the company’s revenue mix and business model toward fast growth, high margin software products and services supported by a superior technology platform. Under their leadership, the company improved from a business losing $10 million annually to a business generating $6 million in income. Additionally, they successfully completed two acquisitions, one of which was an early stage software company that grew from zero annual revenue to over $5 million of annual revenue in just two years.
Since joining Capital Office, Jeff has continued to demonstrate their financial expertise and leadership skills. Jeff has successfully implemented aggressive cost reduction programs and improved the financial planning and control systems to accurately report performance and exercise effective management control over revenues, expenses, capital expenditures, lease financing transactions and other sources of cash inflows /outflows. In addition, they have strengthened the company’s working capital management processes, procedures and practices including implementation of a “rolling 52 week” cash forecast model and implementation of an automated invoice processing system. Jeff Cartwright attended the University of Chicago, where they completed their MBA in finance and accounting. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in finance from Michigan State University. Jeff also attended St. Charles High School.
