John Finnell

John Finnell is a TMT Leveraged Finance Analyst at Capital One, having previously completed an internship as a Leveraged Finance Intern. At Birgo Capital, John interned in the Acquisitions and Asset Management divisions, retaining a part-time underwriting position to enhance modeling skills. As a Senior Financial Analyst and Head of New Member Education for the Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio at the University of Pittsburgh, John contributed to managing over $1,000,000 in assets with a focus on socially responsible investing. Prior experience includes content marketing writing at Farotech, where John produced various forms of content while developing advanced writing and storytelling skills. Early leadership experience was gained as a CEO of a sustainable startup through Junior Achievement USA, guiding a team to successful inventory sales. John Finnell is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics at the University of Pittsburgh.
