Prabodh Mhalgi

Prabodh Mhalgi is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in designing and implementing data solutions within the financial services sector. Currently serving as a Sr. Lead Data Engineer at Capital One since June 2022, Mhalgi previously held the position of Principal Technical Architect for Cloud Data Products at Discover Financial Services, where significant contributions were made toward developing an automated, metadata-driven cloud data fabric capable of real-time data ingestion from various operational sources. Earlier roles included Technical Architect at Bitwise Inc., focusing on data quality architecture and governance, as well as leading the development of Hydrograph, an open-source ELT tool. Mhalgi's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
