Raj Rao

Raj Rao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in capital markets technology and implementation. Currently serving as the Director of Capital Markets Technology at Capital One since October 2013, Raj previously held the position of Senior Manager in the same division. Prior experience includes a role in Professional Services at Calypso Technology from January 2007 to October 2013, where Raj managed implementations related to Interest Rate Derivatives. Additional experience includes working on Trading Desk Support at Natixis between 2004 and 2007, and providing Professional Services at Summit Systems from 1995 to 2000. Raj Rao holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
