Ray Knickmeyer possesses extensive experience in talent management, user experience design, and employee engagement across multiple organizations. At Capital One, Ray held roles such as Senior Director of Talent, Learning & Culture Operations, where improvements in employee engagement were achieved for a 700-person Experience Design organization, and as Director of Experience Strategy, implementing human-centered design practices that enhanced collaboration and Net Promoter Score (NPS). Prior to this, Ray served at Verizon as Senior Manager Design Lead for Employee Experience, overseeing initiatives that transformed experiences for over 160,000 employees, and as Senior Information Architect, focusing on user experience design. Earlier career experiences include positions as HCI Designer at Language Computer Corporation and Research Assistant at Georgia Tech. Ray holds a Master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Professional Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University.
