Terry Yen

Terry Yen is a seasoned product leader with extensive experience in enterprise data and AI technologies. Currently serving as Senior Director of Product for Enterprise Data at Capital One since February 2025, Terry oversees teams responsible for the organization's enterprise data platform. Concurrently, as an Expert at Primary Venture Partners, Terry provides strategic guidance to investment teams and portfolio founders. Previously, Terry held positions as Senior Director of Product at Bloomberg Industry Group, where responsibilities included developing data and AI products and improving data architecture, and at Morning Consult, where Terry led a team that significantly scaled data infrastructure while achieving unicorn valuation. Earlier roles included leadership at the U.S. Energy Information Administration and the Institute for Defense Analyses, contributing to pivotal projects in energy markets and defense logistics. Terry holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemistry (cum laude) from Caltech.
