Yen Phan

Yen Phan has over seven years of experience in human resources and user experience design, currently serving as an HR Associate focusing on strategy, operations, and reporting for tech recruiting at Capital One since September 2018. Yen also holds the position of Lead UX Researcher for the Hack for LA project Lucky Parking, which supports informed parking policy decisions in Los Angeles. Previous roles include User Experience Designer for Consulting, where extensive research methodologies and website revamps were executed, and positions in recruiting and operations at Abacus Group, LLC, McCarthy & Holthus LLP, and Pendle Hill. Yen's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Haverford College and a Certificate in UX Design from The City University of New York. Additional studies were undertaken in Japan at Nanzan University and universitas sanata dharma.
