Alice Lee is a highly experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist, currently serving as a Clinical Professor at Macquarie University and Vice Chair of the Hepatology Section at the World Gastroenterology Organisation since January 2022. With a rich background in hepatitis management, Alice directs the HOPE program through the Christian Friends of Korea and actively contributes to various organizations focused on viral hepatitis, including serving as a trainer and executive member at the World Gastroenterology Organisation and participating in the Coalition to Eradicate Viral Hepatitis in the Asia Pacific. Alice co-founded the non-profit organization Hepatitis B Free to enhance awareness and vaccination efforts, and previously held leadership positions in gastroenterology at Macquarie University Hospital and the Korean Health Committee.
