Mike Melody

Mike Melody serves as the CEO and lead consultant/educator at OshaMan Safety Services since July 1996, focusing on healthcare compliance with expertise in OSHA, EPA, TJC, DNV, and Emergency Preparedness, with extensive experience across multiple healthcare settings. Additionally, Mike has held the position of System Level Safety/Emergency Preparedness Officer at Concord Hospital Health System since May 1996, overseeing safety, fire, hazardous materials, and emergency preparedness initiatives. Previous roles include Safety Risk Manager at Concord Hospital from 1996 to 2008, Safety Superintendent at Maher Terminals, and OSHA Compliance Officer/EMT-I at Danbury Ambulance. Mike's educational background encompasses a Master's degree in Public Service Leadership with a specialization in Emergency Management from Capella University, a BS in Healthcare Administration from New England College, and AS degrees in Fire & Safety and Fire Technology from the University of New Haven and Waterbury State Tech College, respectively.
