John Kennedy

John Kennedy is an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in development accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Development Accountant at Capital Square since February 2023, John previously held controller roles at Cornerstone Homes - VA and TerraForge Communities, Inc. John’s experience also includes senior project accountant and project accountant positions at CAS Riegler Companies and VORNADO/Charles E. Smith, respectively. Early career roles at Van Metre Companies, Calnet, Inc., and Matson, Driscoll & Damico LLP provided a solid foundation in various accounting applications. John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from William & Mary, earned in 2008.
