Previously, Mercado spent nearly six years with a national real estate sponsor as its product manager of private offerings. Mercado spent approximately six years with Grubb & Ellis and its predecessor, Triple Net Properties, as a tenant-in-common closing manager. Throughout his career, he has closed more than $2.5 billion in investor equity.
