Toby Lazar

Toby Lazar is an experienced technology professional with a robust background in software development and systems integration. As Managing Principal at Capital Technology Group, LLC since April 2010, Toby has led various initiatives. Currently, as Program Technical Lead for the USCIS Biometrics program, Toby drives software development efforts. Previous roles include Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Palantir Technologies and Software Architect at USCIS, where Toby contributed to enterprise integration solutions and served as a core member of multiple program teams. Toby's early career included positions at the US Department of Homeland Security, TIBCO Software, and Barnes&Noble.com, focusing on modernizing biometric services, designing integration solutions, and enhancing e-commerce platforms. Toby holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Yeshiva University.
