Matt Chun-Lum

Matt Chun-Lum has over 12 years of work experience in the field of software engineering and DevOps. Matt is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Hum Capital since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at NerdWallet as a Staff DevOps Engineer from June 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining NerdWallet, Matt served as a Senior Engineer Software at Roblox from July 2018 to April 2019. Matt also worked at Pure Storage as a Staff Software Engineer from August 2015 to July 2018. In addition, they were a Senior Software Engineer at LinkedIn from December 2013 to August 2015.

Matt's career started at IMVU in June 2011, where they held the role of Senior Software Engineer and served as the technical lead for a team of six engineers. During their time at IMVU, they developed payment integrations for a web application and desktop client, as well as a way to generate administrative interfaces from REST APIs.

Prior to their industry experience, Matt worked as a Residential Computer Consultant at Stanford University from September 2009 to June 2011.

From 2007 to 2011, Matt Chun-Lum attended Stanford University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering.
