Jessica Toon

Jessica Toon serves as the Senior Executive Director at The Recording Academy since December 2019, where responsibilities include advocating for music creators and enhancing the recording arts' cultural significance. In addition to this role, Jessica is a Strategic Advisor on the founding team of Lamina1, a blockchain initiative aimed at empowering the open Metaverse, and serves as a General Partner at the Lamina1 Ecosystem Fund, which supports early-stage Metaverse ventures. Other notable positions include serving as a Strategic Advisor at Capital6 and Noteworthy, as well as previously functioning as Chief Marketing Officer at New Alchemy, and Head of Marketing and Communications at the Museum of Pop Culture. Jessica's extensive experience in marketing and communications spans various sectors, including arts, culture, and technology, and is complemented by a background in building independent music platforms. Educational credentials include attendance at The Art Institutes from 1997 to 1999.
