Roy Eddekel Alvear Aguirre

Roy Eddekel Alvear Aguirre is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of DevOps, systems administration, and education. Currently serving as a DevOps engineer at Capitalizarme since January 2022, responsibilities include managing infrastructure services and cloud migration. As a Fedora Ambassador since January 2009, Roy promotes the Fedora project and engages in software packaging. Previous roles encompass engineering positions at IPS Chileatiende and the Ministry Secretaría General de la Presidencia, overseeing critical platforms, as well as teaching positions at various educational institutions, including INACAP and Universidad Mayor. Roy holds a Master's degree in Information Technology Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de La Frontera.
