Gerard Merkosky

Gerard Merkosky is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Finance and Analysis at Capital Power since June 2009, where responsibilities include financial planning, monthly performance analysis, and risk management functions. Previous roles at Capital Power include Vice President of Health, Safety & Environment and Vice President of Supply Chain Management. Prior to Capital Power, Gerard held positions such as Controller for Power Services at EPCOR and Senior Finance Manager at Syncrude Canada Ltd. Education includes achieving CPA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and a degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
