Lorne Whittles

Lorne Whittles has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Lorne began their career at EPCOR in 2002, where they held the role of Manager, Pacific Northwest Energy Marketing until 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Lorne worked as the Director, Western US at EPCOR. In 2009, they joined Capital Power as the Director, Commercial Management (US / British Columbia Natural Gas, Hydro, Biomass, Wind) until 2012. Lorne then took on the role of Director, Commercial Management (Canada West Wind and Natural Gas) at Capital Power from 2013 to 2018. Currently, Lorne is the Director, Commercial Management (US / Canada Renewables) at Capital Power, a position they have held since July 2018.

Lorne Whittles pursued their Bachelor of Science degree from 1984 to 1988 at The University of Lethbridge. Later, from 1989 to 1991, they attended the University of Calgary, where they obtained their Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
