Michael Sheehan

Michael Sheehan is a seasoned professional in public relations and stakeholder engagement with a career spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for Indigenous and Stakeholder Engagement and previously as a Media Relations Manager at Capital Power since February 2010, Sheehan has focused on enhancing the company's reputation through strategic media relations and developing clear communication materials. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Advisor in Community Relations at TransAlta and various communication positions at the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, UFA Co-operative Ltd, and Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro. Michael Sheehan holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Memorial University.
