Olga Waiand

Olga Waiand, MBA, has several years of experience in the finance industry. Olga currently works as a Senior Credit Analyst at Capital Power, a position they started in February 2023. Prior to joining Capital Power, Olga worked at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets as an Associate in the Corporate Banking - Energy division from February 2015 to June 2018. Before that, they were an Associate at CIBC in the Oil & Gas sector from November 2012 to February 2015. Olga also gained valuable experience as a Credit Analyst at Capital Power Corporation from December 2011 to November 2012, where they were responsible for credit and financial statement analysis, credit exposure monitoring, credit risk mitigation, and managing vendor credit risk.

Olga Waiand, MBA completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy from Queen's University in the year 2015. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Finance from The University of Calgary from 2005 to 2009, obtaining a BComm degree.
