Paul Wendelgass

Paul Wendelgass is a seasoned energy development professional with extensive experience in renewable energy project consulting and business development. Currently serving as Principal at Pine Hill Associates LLC since July 2021, Wendelgass specializes in development and tax equity financing for wind, solar, and storage projects across North America. As Managing Director at Capital Power since June 2011, Wendelgass leads a team focused on wind and solar development and acquisitions in the U.S., managing relationships with various stakeholders. Previous roles include Principal at WE Development Associates, Vice President at Competitive Power Ventures, Director of Business Development at Calpine Corp., and Director of International Project Development at NORESCO, with a career spanning multiple sectors of power generation. Wendelgass holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Chicago.
