Scott Manson

Scott Manson has a diverse work experience in finance and treasury. Scott started their career at KPMG Corporate Finance, where they worked as an Accountant/Senior Accountant from January 2005 to September 2007. Scott then moved up to the position of Manager from September 2007 to February 2012.

In 2012, Scott joined Capital Power as a Senior Advisor in Valuation & Finance and worked there until December 2015. Scott then advanced to the role of Senior Manager in Budget & Forecasts from December 2015 to July 2018. Scott then served as the Director of Valuation Services from July 2018 to July 2020 before being promoted to the role of Director of Treasury from July 2020 to April 2021. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Finance and Treasury, starting from April 2021 at Capital Power.

Scott Manson attended Old Scona High from 1997 to 2000. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Alberta, where they studied Accounting from 2000 to 2005. Scott successfully obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from the University of Alberta.
