Herman du Plessis

Herman Du Plessis has extensive experience in the field of system engineering and architecture, with a focus on e-channels and product development. Currently serving as Architect: E-Channels at Capitec Bank since May 2010, Herman previously worked at Spescom Mobile Solutions as a System Engineer, where efforts were directed towards exploring mobile market opportunities using open source technologies. At Spescom DataVoice, roles included System Engineer in the New Product Development team, Development Manager for the Content Management and Presentation team, and System Engineer in the Recorder and Call Centre teams, contributing to innovation and team leadership. Educational qualifications include an MBA with a focus on strategic management and project management from Stellenbosch University, along with a BB and AHonours in Financial Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Pretoria.
