Johan Strydom

Johan Strydom is a Senior Data Scientist at Capitec Bank since November 2021, specializing in real-time model development, event and batch model architecture, and graph-based analytics. Prior to this role, Strydom accumulated extensive experience at FNB South Africa from October 2013 to November 2021, serving in various positions including Data Scientist, Profitability and Value Adds Manager, Rewards Manager, and Product Analyst, where responsibilities included upgrading mainframe systems to Hadoop, analyzing customer behavior, and managing the FNB Rewards program. Earlier, Strydom worked as a Strategy Analyst at Nedbank and a Business Analyst at Volition Consulting Services, along with experience as a Process Engineer at Wispeco Aluminium.
