Reinier Grobler

Reinier Grobler has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Reinier joined Capitec in 2021 as a Systems Engineer, where they focused on client engagement. In 2023, they transitioned to the role of Delivery Lead, responsible for client insights. Prior to Capitec, Reinier worked at TFG (The Foschini Group) from 2014 to 2020. During their time there, they held different positions, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Analyst Programmer. Reinier was involved in application design and development, R&D for new technologies, and the implementation of projects. Before TFG, Reinier worked at Data Solve (Pty) Ltd from 2009 to 2014. Reinier served as an Application Analyst, Application Support Team Lead, and Magic Support Analyst, where they coordinated incident resolution, managed support relationships, and provided proactive support.

Reinier Grobler attended Stellenbosch University from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued Mechatronics Engineering. From 2007 to 2009, they then attended the Central University of Technology, Free State, focusing on Computer Systems Engineering.
