Stefan de Klerk is an accomplished financial services professional currently serving as Product Head for Enterprise Payment Services at Capitec since July 2017. In this role, Stefan drives the development of payment solutions and promotes open banking across South Africa, focusing on creating secure and accessible financial services. Previously, Stefan managed the Capitec Pay product, coordinating between business, technology, and partners to enhance the client experience. Stefan's earlier experience includes leading the Innovation & Prototyping team and conducting fintech research at Capitec, along with a foundational role as Product Manager at Limitless Technology Group SA. Beginning the career as a Medical Recruitment and Marketing Consultant and a General Manager at Stones Stellenbosch, Stefan brings a diverse skill set and leadership experience, underpinned by a degree in Business Systems Analysis from the University of Cape Town.
