Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar is a senior developer at Capitol who previously worked as the director of technology practice at RTM Limited and as a VP/Architect Technology at DigitasLBi. Amit has also worked as an MSx Sloan Fellow at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Kumar is responsible for technical architecture for client projects and dev-ops (hosting on Rackspace, server scaling, continuous deployment). Amit has also established coding guidelines for responsive front-end and back-end code, managed multiple 3rd-party service providers, and mentored junior developers in the craft of coding.

Kumar led the development of the Journeymakers campaign (2015) for American Express. The back-end tech stack for the campaign included node.js + express.js backend app hosted on Rackspace. The front-end tech stack included grunt.js, bower, Sass, Bourbon, GreenSock, skrollr, jQuery, lodash.

Amit Kumar has a MSx from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Business Administration and Management, General. Amit also has a BS from University of California in Cognitive Science; Computing. Finally, they have a Cognitive Science degree from Université Lumière (Lyon II).
