Jason Underwood

Jason Underwood has a diverse work experience in government relations and law. Jason started their career as an Associate Attorney at Middleton Reutlinger in 1997 and later served as General Counsel to the President of the Kentucky State Senate from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, they joined Greater Louisville Inc. as the VP of Government Relations. Jason then worked as a Lobbyist for the Sazerac Company from 2007 to 2018. Currently, they are the President of Capitol Strategies, providing government relations assistance to clients across multiple states.

Jason Underwood attended Boston College from 1989 to 1993, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. Jason then went on to study at the University of Kentucky School of Law from 1994 to 1997, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law.
