Amy Nguyen

Amy Nguyen is the Owner Managing Officer for Capitol Wellness Solutions. She is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws and rules pertaining to the operation of a pharmacy.

Amy is currently the Pharmacist-In-Charge at Gem Drugs in Reserve, Louisiana. Her roles at Gem Drugs include: monitoring the day-to-day pharmacy operations, creating and managing Standard Operating Procedures, and assisting Gem Drugs in receiving and maintaining their PCAB and ACHC accreditation. Amy overlooks the compounding and home infusion departments. She goes above and beyond to connect with patients and understand their needs. She is responsible for creating accurate compounding formulas and verifying proper infusion dosages and rates. She does many follow-ups and consultations with her patients daily to ensure their satisfaction.

Amy studied pharmacy at Xavier University College of Pharmacy in New Orleans, Louisiana and obtained her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree in 2012. In her time holding an active pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana, she also holds additional licenses in multiple states.

Amy enjoys her leisure time by exploring new destinations as well as trying different restaurants with her family and friends.
