Alex is a software executive veteran and a successful serial entrepreneur and early-stage investor. He has Fortune 500 software leadership as the former EVP and President Global Sales & Marketing at Rackspace, which he helped lead the sale of to Apollo for $4.3B. He was also the former President of RedHat where he grew sales from $50MM to $1.2B. As a multi success founder he launched MainControl sold to MRO Software (2002), Interchip GmbH sold to Boole & Babbage (1992). He has held numerous public and private board roles such as – BMC Software, Qualys, Xebia Labs, among others. He has invested in numerous early-stage software companies, both institutional and personal.
