Michelle Osterholm

Michelle Osterholm is currently working as a Senior Project Manager at Capsher Technology since December 2021. Previously, from December 2019 to February 2021, they held the position of Software Project Manager at the same company. As a Software Project Manager, their responsibilities included developing software definitions, coordinating with the development team, managing project scope, schedule, and budget, and ensuring high-quality product delivery.

Before joining Capsher Technology, Michelle worked at Viasat Inc. from August 2015 to November 2019. Michelle held the roles of Business Technology Consultant from February 2018 to November 2019 and Business Analyst from August 2015 to February 2018. As a Business Analyst, they captured software requirements, developed mockups and wireframes, and coordinated with developers and software quality analysts to ensure the delivery of requirements according to specifications.

Prior to Viasat Inc., Michelle had a role at Texas A&M University IT Project Management Office as a Lead IT Consultant from November 2013 to August 2015. In this role, they led IT projects, developed and managed training courses in project management, and organized an annual conference on project management in higher education.

Michelle also worked at Texas A&M Information Technology from December 2008 to November 2013 as a Communications Coordinator. Their responsibilities included defining requirements for internally developed applications and websites, serving as a primary copywriter, and managing communication projects.

Michelle's early work experience includes a role as a Communications and Marketing Instructor at Blinn College from August 2005 to December 2009. In this position, they developed and delivered marketing and business communication courses and evaluated student performance.

Michelle Osterholm obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business from Stephen F. Austin State University, which they attended from 2000 to 2003. Michelle then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in General Business from the same university, completing their studies from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Michelle Osterholm has obtained several certifications, including Professional Scrum Product Owner and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in December 2017 and December 2016, respectively. Michelle also holds ITIL Intermediate certifications in Service Transition, Continual Service Improvement, and Service Strategy from PEOPLECERT, obtained in 2015 and 2014. Furthermore, they are a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, having received their certification in December 2013. Michelle Osterholm started their certification journey with ITIL Foundations from PEOPLECERT in April 2013.
