Alice Eastwood

Alice joined Capsticks in January 2021 as an associate in the Clinical Law Claims team based in Birmingham. She is instructed by NHS Resolution to advise on the defence of clinical negligence claims brought against NHS Trusts and GPs.

Before joining Capsticks Alice has several years’ experience as a Claimant solicitor, advising on cases from inception through to trial and assisting on high value complex birth injury cases. Alice also gained experience in representing families at Inquest alongside their clinical negligence claim, undertaking her own advocacy.

She has a varied caseload involving matters at all stages of the litigation process. She is experienced in acting for GP Defendants in multiple party litigation, advising on apportionment issues and vicarious liability. She also has particulars interests in gynaecological and obstetric cases as well as delays in diagnosis.
