Adam Cotterill

Adam Cotterill is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in energy policy and investment banking. Currently serving as Vice President of US Energy Policy & Regulation at Capstone from 2021 to 2024, Adam leads projects and manages client relationships with hedge funds and private equity firms in North America and Europe. Previously, Adam worked as an Author for the newsletter "the Plug," aiming to enhance understanding of the global energy sector. Adam's experience includes roles as a Private Equity Associate at Global Infrastructure Partners, focusing on North American energy infrastructure, and as an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs, specializing in energy companies. Early career experiences include positions at RBC Capital Markets, including Investment Banking Analyst and Summer Analyst, as well as serving as Portfolio Manager for Queen's University Investment Counsel, emphasizing Canadian real estate. Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
