David Taylor

David Taylor currently serves as Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment at Capstone Copper, leading the HSE program for over 8,500 employees and contractors. Previously, David held the position of Director of HSSE Global Operations at Stantec, overseeing a team that supported approximately 9,500 personnel across more than 20 countries. Other significant roles include Regional Leader for HSSE in Latin America at Golder, where David managed teams across multiple countries, and Senior Manager for HSE and Technical Training at STRACON GyM, responsible for HSE strategy across various mining projects. David's career includes earlier roles at Sierra Gorda SCM, SNC-Lavalin, and Peabody Energy, showcasing extensive experience in health, safety, environment, and sustainability across diverse sectors. David holds a postgraduate degree in Organisational Development and Health and Safety performance from the University of Southern Queensland.
