Roberto Rojas Rivera

Roberto Rojas Rivera possesses extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Gerente Mina at Capstone Copper since June 2021. Previously, Roberto held multiple senior positions at CODELCO, including Superintendente Operaciones for the Mina Rajo Abierto and Superintendente Gestión Producción for the planificación corto plazo at Mina Codelco Andina from October 2017 to July 2022. Roberto’s career began at Phelps Dodge - Minera Candelaria in 2006 as a trainee, followed by a significant tenure at Freeport-McMoRan - Minera Candelaria, where Roberto advanced through various operational and engineering roles from 2007 to 2017. Roberto earned a Magister en Gestión y Dirección de Empresas from Universidad de Chile and holds a degree in Civil Engineering in Mining from Universidad de Atacama.
