Captain - All Risk Wildland Fires & Confine Space Rescue at Capstone Fire & Safety Management

Daniel Cardenas has over four decades of experience in firefighting and safety management, currently serving as Captain at Capstone Fire & Safety Management since July 2019, focusing on all-risk wildland fires and confined space rescue. Prior roles include Fire Investigation Consultant for the City of Fremont from July 2017 to June 2020, and Safety Specialist Instructor at ICE Safety Solutions between March 2017 and July 2019. Daniel dedicated 35 years to the Fremont Fire Department from February 1981 to October 2016, where responsibilities included Fire Captain and roles in special operations, public information, and incident management. Earlier experience includes firefighter positions with the City of Vallejo and the State of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Daniel holds a certificate in Fire Investigations, Interviews & Interrogations from the National Fire Academy and an associate of arts in Fire Science from Chabot College, with ongoing business education at Ohlone College.
