Monte Knippel is an experienced professional in hazardous materials and CBRNE response training. Currently serving as the Regional CBRNE / HAZMAT Training Chief at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton since April 2023, Monte Knippel develops and delivers response training for Marine Corps Installation First Responders. As a Fire Captain at Capstone Fire & Safety Management and a Hazardous Materials Instructor for the Industrial Emergency Council since July 2019, Monte provides critical training to First Responders across California. Additionally, Monte Knippel contributes as a Hazardous Materials Outreach Instructor for the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services and previously held the role of Chief Instructor for Hazardous Materials / CBRNE Response at Huntington Ingalls Industries, overseeing training across numerous USMC installations. Monte's career also includes serving as a Hazardous Materials Course Coordinator at San Pasqual Reservation Fire Academy and a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.
